Award winning landscape photography

I was very proud when the The British Institute of Professional Photographers made me a ‘Fellow' as a result of my Landscape Photography work in the Lake District and Eryri (Snowdonia).

Distinctive, full of passion that demonstrate a real ‘feel’ and love for the area. They capture it so well. There is a unique style that marks them as your images.

Regularly published in National and Regional magazines, I cover all areas of the Lake District and Snowdonia (Eryri) not just on my Landscape Photography courses and workshops but for my own projects too. I have my favourite locations around Eskdale and Wast Water up north and the Ogwen Valley and Dinorwig Quarries in Eryri (Snowdonia). To be honest, I simply enjoy being in the outdoors!

Whilst I was originally trained in the days of film, I undertake my photography in a very similar way. I find that working with my FUJIFILM cameras allows me to ‘keep the tradition.’ Consequently, whilst I use software, my processing is usually undertaken in less than a minute.

For me, this ensures the authenticity of my images rather than relying upon the computer to generate them in a way that doesn’t relay the scene that attracted me to them in the first place. A point that my workshop students regularly refer to in their testimonials.
